Different people, their life, and what they have to say
Anyone who knows me well enough, or, dare I say, anyone who knows me at all, knows that I'm a statistics nerd. By no means let this fool you into thinking that I am an expert on the topic, but I do care about it more so than the average human being, and I always try to fall back on my statistical background in order to introduce objectivity and statistical intuition into my thinking process. But -and there always is a "but"- at the true center of my heart is people. All I've ever done so far is various extended efforts to understand them better; all I want to do is to help other people. Both with the caveat of it being on my terms.
Fortunately, I've had immense luck with this. I don't know if it's a natural talent, sheer luck, blessing from God, or just a combined natural force of all things concious and unconcious, but I've been blessed with many great people in my life. Some of them were kind enough to share their knowledge about life, about the world and how it runs, about careers, about academia, about something that they are passionate about, and ultimately about themselves. I feel that it is my duty to pass of what they've told me to others, and that is why this page exists.
I normally take great care to organize the content that I create (not that that effort leads to a clean result 100% of the time), but this page will be somewhat different. People have different lives, come from different backgrounds, and more often than not have verity of advice to share. I don't believe that I am qualified to catagorize this with my personal bias. Instead, I encourage someone who is reading this to take time to consider all that my very kind interviewees has to offer.
